Can't hear music after a couple of minutes?

I just bought a new iPod Classic for my wife and have transferred some of my music library to her iPod. After about two minutes, some of the songs are mute; although they continue to play there's no sound.

iPod classic, iOS 7.0.4

Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
Download your previously purchased song from this list.
