Bonjour will not work on Windows 8.1. How to fix?

The bonjour service fails to work in Windows 8.1, despite the fact that it looks as if it runs in the Services screen. It refuses to launch, and iTunes is warning me about it, but there is nothing I can do. Does anyone have this problem, and if so, can you fix it?

Hi,

I have the same problem: I cant' install an Wifi HP printer that already works fine in Windows 7 with Bonjour service. Now, in a new laptop with Windows 8.1 Itunes works, but I can't install the same printer... I read about Bonjour driver doesn't works for Windows 8x, ... Help please!
