Q: AirPrint

Can I use my Iphone hotspot as a router for Airprint to support printing from my Macbook Pro and Ipad?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    If the printer supports AirPrint then in theory using your iPhone as a router and having all devices connected to it should allow the Mac and iPad to see and print to the AirPrint printer. But I have to add that I've never tried it so maybe someone else will add their experience as to whether it will work.

    I don't think Airprint acts as a print server, but it would be interesting to know the results if you try.

    However, as a hotspot, I think it is just a router, so as mentioned, it may work if you can connect the printer to the hotspot network.
