Need a reasonably priced external speaker system to add to new iMac 27. Something close to $200. Or less is even better.
I shoot edit social, corporate events all non broadcast..

very popular in my area are JBL Control One(amazon link) in use in every second audio or editing suite, which are especially designed for 'close up listening'; for sure, you need an additional amplifier…
I Use the Bose C20 speakers too - they exceed my expectations. Nevertheless, they are not monitor speakers, which will probably not worry you if you are non-broadcast.
