Project import does not work with OSX iMovie 10.0.1 and iOS iMovie 2 !

So i am using iMovie 2.0 on iOS 7.0.4 on an iPad Air. I created a project and trying to import it on an iMac with OSX 10.9 (Maverick) and iMovie 10.0.1.

Exporting of the project in iTunes works fine, but when trying to import into iMovie, i cannot select the exported file because it is greyed out !

Is thi confirmed by Apple as not working ? Otherwise i do not see why this article is till online !

According to this article it is not currently possible to import ios imovie projects to iMovie 10 (like you can in iMove 9:

I would expect this to rectified before too long, but for the moment your only option is to transfer to iMovie 9 the upgrade it to iMovie 10 (or stay in iMovie 9)
