Is it possible to password protect an iCal on both iMac and iOS device?

Hi all

I have created an iCal for work, which I need to be able to password protect, but still have access to other iCal's stored on the same device without having to enter a password. I have seen numerous applications that allows you to lock the application on iOS devices, but none that will allow you to lock a specific calender. Does anybody know whether this is possbile?? Any information would be grately appreciated.

if you wanted to save passwords i could help you. there is this new thing for mac called icloudkeychian and it askes you anytime you enter in a username or password for a website, it saves it, i use this and it is very helpful

Thanks for your reply. I use icloud keychain to save passwords, but correct me if i'm wrong, I don't think this would create/password protect an iCal calender? I though icloud keychain was there just to store passwords for certain websites?

No, it's not possible to password protect the Calendar app on the iPhone. On your Mac, you could create a second user account and enable fast user switching. Accessing the second user account could require a password.
