I used CCleaner and accidentally removed text encoder so now website text is garbled. I had not set up Time Machine and when I tried, only Time Capsule showed up but it won't detect my Airport, which is working fine.

I didn't know I had to set up Time Machine. I saw it there and thought it was doing it's job.

You might try reapplying the big combo update first...
