It started today, my iCloud/Me account email needs a password. Every time I open
email. To enter it I have to actually open Mail Preference and go to accounts enter
the password, close, save and then it loads. I close mail, and the password is deleted.
I have tried deleitng any related plist associated with the icloud account, to no avail.
Anyone have a suggestion.

Try resetting the keychain.
If that doesn't work, try deleting the account and then adding it back.
Deleting the account lead down the path to the solutions.
There appears to be a couple of issues. If your credit card on file expires it
appears the system renders your account not usable until you either delete the card
or update the record. I say this as I deleted my email account and reinstalled to no
avail, then I looked at the account itself and saw that my CC info had an alert,
I changed/updated it and then deleted and reinstalled and all works well.
