When I use my new Plantronics M50 bluetooth for streaming audio with my iPhone 5 ver. 7.0.4, the streaming audio gets choppy when I put the phone in my pocket. It happens less with phone call audio.

Is there anything else in the pocket with the phone, such as change, car keys, etc? I trust there is not that much of a distance between the device and the phone? Are these headphones or something else?
Nothing else. Right the distance is from my head to my waist. Bluetooth range is about 33ft on average. However, U just read the following on the Plantronics website about this issue...

To all - unfortunately, as mentioned above, it is true that some users have reported issues with Bluetooth headsets and the newer iPhones (4/4s/5). It is also true that there is no way to update the firmware on the M50/M55, as these headsets are not supported by MyHeadset Updater. You may want to contact Apple or visit some of their forums to see if they have any troubleshooting advice on this issue."
I am returning the Plantronics to Amazon today.

Your welcome. Many times, older headsets do not function as well with the newer Bluetooth profiles that come loaded on the iPhones. On another note, I have a set of Motorola S11-HD Bluetooth headphones that work great for music and also phone calls.
