why doesn't my iPhoto 9.5.1 not give me options when exporting a slideshow?
iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), 2.9GHZ intel core i5 8Gb Ram
iPhoto does give you options when exporting a slideshow from the slideshow mode. The are not as extensive as they were:
Also, if you are creating slideshows directly in albums and export via the File ➙ Export ➙ Slideshow menu option you get the same options:

Thank you for your reply OT, but I was watching a tutorial video for this same version 9.5.1 of iphoto and they do show the full option table .. that is why I am wondering if everyone else has the same options as I do or more.

its a youTube video and its around min3 mark where it shows all the options for export
Those options were removed in iPhoto v9.5. The demonstration is made using an earlier versions.
