This is the only option that worked for me, courtesy of SergZak.

"To remove the wireless profile from an iOS device:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Profiles
  2. Select the profile you wish to remove (eduroam or UI-Wireless-Setup, for example)
  3. Select Remove
  4. If asked, enter your device’s security PIN number"

The network should be there and forgettable if you are connected. Make sure you've tapped on the "i" at the right of the connected network, next to the Wi-Fi symbol. At the top of the next screen should be "Forget this network". If you don't see this, try to reset your device and try again:

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Odd...the only other thing I can suggest is to reboot the Wi-Fi network at work (if you can) and try again.

EDIT: Do you use something called Quickconnect client to setup a wireless connection? If so, this may help:

(via Google)

To remove the wireless profile from an iOS device:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Profiles
  2. Select the profile you wish to remove (eduroam or UI-Wireless-Setup, for example)
  3. Select Remove
  4. If asked, enter your device’s security PIN number

Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

Thanks for the tip. Gave it a try, still no option. It's just one network, any other network I connect to gives me the option to forget. My iPhone gives me the option to forget the network, only on my iPad Air is the option not there.

A little more background, the network I'm trying to forget is our wireless network at work. It used to work fine for me, after the last iOS update (8.1.1) I started having problems with the iPad sporadically dropping the network. I was hoping forgetting the network and the reconnecting might fix that problem, but I don't have any way to forget the network.

I am unable to remove my neighbor's secured Wi-Fi networks on my iPhone and iPad. As stated in earlier posts, pressing the ℹ to the left of the network does not show the option to "Forget Network"; it shows "Join Network". If this option is selected, it requests the password. I have attached screenshots displaying the above mentioned.

In regards to removing a unwanted profile, I found this is not an option as the only profile shown is my own.

Viewing my neighbor's networks does not cause any issues; it is just a visual annoyance. I think it would be a quick fix for Apple to allow the user to remove unwanted networks.
