how do I change drive letters for my ipod

My computer assigns the same drive letter as the letter assigned to removeable storage but places it as a disk drive and I cannot sync with my generation 7 ipod nano. Help

iPod nano, Windows 7, 64 bit Home Premium

I would try running through the recommendations in the following article, they might apply to your issue:

Windows confuses iPod with network drive or hard drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear
