Airport Express has disappeared completely

I got back from the Holidays and found that my Airport Express no longer works. I've checked with my cable provider and there are no problems with the Modem or connection. When I go to the Airport Utility, the device is no longer showing up. I tried to do a hard reset and that isn't working, either. I'm just getting the amber light. Any thoughts?
