So I have seen photos of text messages with people's contact photos at the side to make it easier to be able to see the photo of the contact that has messaged you. So I was wondering how you do it I have been through my settings and I haven't came across any thing about them so please if anyone knows please help me out

Go ahead and edit that contact and add a photo to it.
If you did not set a contact as yourself yet, get one created or choose an existing one.

I just looked, mine has a lower case "me" next to my name in the All Contacts listing....
This is generally other people that you see text. These are the people that are in your contacts. You would not be able to see your photo in your Message.
This did the trick! Go to your contacts. Add your contact, including a picture.
