Jan 4, 2014 4:06 PM in response to johnsonray001by apad201,Are you logged in as an admin? And in the Get Info dialogue, do you have permission to edit?
Also, try dragging the CD from your desktop to the trash icon on your dock (it should change to an Eject icon).

Jan 4, 2014 4:13 PM in response to johnsonray001by apad201,★HelpfulAlso, try using one of the following methods:
- Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the left mouse button until the disc ejects.
- Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
- Press Command + E.
- Click on the Eject icon in the menu bar.
- If none of the above work, then launch terminal (in your Utilities folder, /Applications/Utilities) and type (or paste):
/usr/bin/drutil eject
IF 5 DOESN'T WORK, boot into Single-user Mode and type the same command as used above. Then, type/paste
restart
in the prompt.
