I consolidated some APPS but WHY CAN'T I CHANGE THE FOLDER NAME?
iPad, iOS 6
tap on the folder so that it enlarges to show what is in it. The name will appear above it. Touch and hold the name until the apps start to wiggle, and a small x appears to the right of the name. Touch the x and the keyboard will appear. Back space to delete, type in new name. Then press the home button when you are done.
