How can you change the number of measures per line when printing from score view?

I need to change the number of measures printed per line in Garageband from the score view, but Garageband seems to have it's own fixed algorithms for choosing how many bars per line and how spaced out the notes are that doesn't allow for user editing. Is there any way around this? For instance, to force a line with 4 bars to have 5 bars or 3 bars instead? Or for that matter to change any of the formatting (as opposed to content) of how the score is printed? I'm using iLife '11 on Mac 10.6.8. Thanks!

GarageBand (Mac) '11, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

You cannot control, how the printed score will look. It is not supposed to be a tool for musical typesetting - only a convenience to be able to check your midi tracks quickly. You cannot even control, how the notes will be assigned to the staffs with the bass cleffs or treble clefs.

Use other programs for better typesetting your musical scores, e.g.Finale.
