How do I change the apple ID asssociated with an I pad?
I purchased an I pad for my daughter and set it up with a different apple Id than her I pod. Now she can't get her old I pod music onto her I pad. Is there a way to merge the accounts?

You can't merge accounts nor transfer content between accounts. You can tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store to log out of an account and you can then log in with a different account - but any apps that were downloaded by the currently logged in account will remain tied to that account, so ony that account can download updates to those apps
