Keynote for ipad as remote
With my keynote for iOS (runnig on iPadMini) can I control (as a remote) a keynote presentation on my MacBook Pro Retina?

Actually, in the newest version of Keynote, the remote capabilities are built into the iOS app. I taught a college-level class last night in which I had my MacBook Pro connected to a projector, but I sat in the back of the classroom driving the slides from my iPad Air.
Keynote Remote has now been discontinued, its features have been absorbed into Keynote iOS version 2.1
Did you control Keynote via bluetooth or wi-fi? I can't get keynote on Mac to see my iOS device in the remotes section of preferences
I was using wifi. Note that in some settings firewalls may be set in such a way that blocks the two devices from seeing each other.

Is the portable running Keynote and wifi connected.
Its usual to have to run Preferences > Remote a few times untill it lists the device.
I wasn't able to connect my iPhone with iPad over Wifi or Bluetooth.
