I am traveling from the US to New Zealand. What type of adapter will I need to charge my iphone 5 in NZ? They have 230volts 50 Hertz electrical current!
If you do a lot of international travel, the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit is great...plugs for the chargers that have removable duckbill plugs, like the MacBook and iPad...for most countries. Part number MB974ZM/B in the US.
For fixed plug chargers, a simple adapter can be purhased at many international airports for a few dollars.

Apple chargers are rated 100-240 volts at 50-60 Hz.

This is the NZ plug type, probably have to buy a pin adapter in NZ unless you can buy in US online ,if you don't need the Apple WW kit
