Apple Radio Player/TV way too loud?

Hello,

I hope you can help me with this one. I still have the TAM sitting here on my desk to enjoy music and old games with it.

Now I got a cable TV and radio connection in my room and I loved the idea of using the TV and radio applications.

They both work, but there are some flaws:

- Radio does only work if I start TV first, then start radio and quit TV again. Is there a way to get rid of this?

- Both applications play the sound way too loud. Even at the lowest possible setting, the TV and radio play sound too loud to be comfortable to relax or work with it in the background. Is there something I can do about this?

Volume settings in the applications and overall volume are equal in this case, if I adjust one, the other changes the same way.

Thank you very much

Alex
