Apples UPS 10 digit tracking number doesn't exist on UPS website?

Sorry about the catagory this question is in, I couldn't find one appropiate.

I bought an iPhone 5s on Friday and it tells me that the iPhone has been shipped and dispatched from Hinckley, in UK, I live in Ireland. Apple has supplied me with a tracking number (a 10 digit number begging with 8) to use on UPS' website, but when i go to the UPS website the number does not exist? it tells me ">>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."

This means that the shipment has not yet been scanned at a UPS facility. Once it arrives at UPS and is scanned you will be able to track it. Are you sure it was shipped UPS? One useful trick is to go to google.com and enter the tracking number in the search box. Google can recognize tracking numbers and take you to the shipper's site, regardless of which shipper it is.
