Q: Unable To Open Document. Newer Version of Pages Needed?

Thanks to IOS 7 and whatever updates -- free mind you that I have installed on my iPad, I can now no longer open Pages documents I have created on the iPad on my Mac...from what I understand, if I was using Office/MS Word I would be able to open it. Since I can't print from my stupid iPad due to lack of AirPort, I am stuck. It looks like the Apple Dumpling Gang is attempting to hold me up for another version of iWork and 40 bucks. Way to go, you so and sos!

App store says no updates in the meantime, so this is really weird. I am thinking the 40 bucks would be a waste of money?

iWork/Pages, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Maverick upgrade available

The icons don't change at an upgrade. You have to add an icon you self for the newer Pages.

Apple should after 6 month be very aware of the problems users have with Pages 5. In my opinion it should have had another name and another file extention than pages.
