Ipad won't restore, error 2003/2009

Hello all,


I plugged in my ipad tonight to add some music on and it said there was a new software version available, think it might have been 7.4? Anyway, it has completely wiped my ipad and it won't even switch on.


I plug it in and it says I need to restore but then it comes up saying 'An error occured, cannot restore error 2003/2009'.


I have tried rebooting, another USB port, another cable. I genuinely don't know what to do.


I'm starting to get quite worried.


Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I had trouble restoring my iPhone 4s because I kept getting error code 2003. I needed to use an original white iphone usb cable instead of my third party cable. It may be a pain in the *** to get that cable, but it immediately solved my error 2003 problem.

This is the information on update/restore errors 2000-2009, and they all have to do with USB connections:

If you haven't already, I would read through that section and follow the links and steps to troubleshoot.
