Q: I backed up  my iPhone to the computer and checked encrypt password.  It did not ask me for a password.  Now it wants a password to restore.  I tried my Apple password, my phone's passcode, nothing works.  Any suggestions?

I backed up my iPhone 4S to iTunes.  Unfortunately I checked encrypt password.  It never asked me for a password.   How do I restore the phone from iTunes when it requires a password I never gave it?  It won't let me change the password because I don't know the so called old password.
