What's the best use of PlayBack in MainStage?

I set up some controls to Go To Next Marker and Go To Previous Marker. When I'm using Next it works fine, but when i click Previous, i have to hit it 2 times. It is liek the first hit of the button on my controller changes direction and the second it make sit go back to the Previous Marker. kind of annoying as the same thing happens when i go back the other way usigng Next after Previous.
