How can I record my voice through my Mac?

Don't open QT in Launchpad, its the one that makes you pay to use the audio. I went to Applications and found a lesser version of QT and the select audio function works just like peeps before me mentioned. Dig for it and good luck. 🙂

Use GarageBand.

In GarageBand, go to the Track menu and add a New Track to your project. When the box comes up, click "real instrument", then "create". Unless you have external audio hardware connected, the default audio input for the track should be the internal microphone of the computer.

Or use QuickTime. Open QuickTime, go to File>New Audio Recording.

You just need two things, a decent Microphone and nice audio recording software.
