I just purchased the Quicktime 7 Pro for Windows for my PC which is not a mac. I am following the instructions (go to quicktimeclick on EDIT click on PREFERENCES Click on REGISTER then enter my name and the Registration code thgat was e-mailed to me EACTLY the way it appears on the e-mail then click apply. I am doing that but nothing is downloading

If you downloaded this from iTunes, you should contact iTunes support. In lieu of that, try asking your question in the iTunes section. This section is for Power Macs, and you'd get more help in the right forum.

Nothing needs to "download" after you enter your registration.
Registration merely unlocks the Pro features found in the free version.
As Kirk said, a Pro key just unlocks the extra features of QuickTime Player and the QuickTime browser plugin. If the Pro labels have gone from the menu items in QuickTime Player, then your key is correctly registered and you should be good to go.
