Settings app somehow got deleted how do I recover it?

It can't get deleted. More likely you've moved it. Try searching for it.

Thats what I thought but it is gone.
Try searching for it. Bring up the search page and type in Settings. If it is in a folder, it will show you the name of the folder. If that does not work, try powering the phone off/ then back on. If that does not help, then try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. See if you can find it then.
