Q: How do i find out 'who' wiped my ipod when it was not me.

The phone number displayed was 954-305-6236 which when called was busy and the next day the number is completly disabled.  When i do a phone number search it pulls us a phone number service of sorts but with not information.  The phone number points to DD PHONE NUMBER - DELANYDEAN.COM           

 

I am trying to find out who accessed and erased my ipod touch.

 

Please help.

    When you're sleeping, did someone call your number and let your iPod restore? I will not help you.

    This was my 15 yr old daughters ipod to be honest and after we made her give it to my wife and i it reset after about 10 mins.  My daughter was doing things young teenagers are NOT supposed to be doing and she is fully aware of our ground rules in the house.  She told us what was on it before we looked but she claims she did not do a remote reset or have a friend initiate the reset.  I need to trust my daughter, until i find out who and why the owner of the previously listed phone number did this.....trust is not easy.

    Contact the police if you are concerend. Anyone with the Apple ID and password for the iClould account account on the iPod can wipe/erase it.

    There is no criminal concern but i want to try and find how, when and if possible who initiated the remote reset.  Was it a deliberate action or is it possible someone unknowingly reset the wrong device.  Sorry, i am not an apple user so i am not aware of the safeguards that are in place to prevent accidental resets....if that is possible.  Is there someway to find this information out?

    As I said, anyone with the Apple ID and password for the iCloud acount used on the iPod can wipe/erase it.

    If you get a court order Apple/upir internet porvider MIGHT be able to hel find who did it
