Q: Unable to quit Logic X. Please help.

I just purchased and downloaded Logic X and all the additional content last night. I tried to quit the program this morning and the quit function is grayed out. So I right clicked the icon in the dock to quit. But the light is still on underneath the icon. I also tried to restart my computer but it says Logic refuses the restart. Can someone please explain this?
