Camera app won't open

I got my iPhone 5s for Christmas and when ever I open the camera application it immediately closes itself down and when I open it from the lock screen the phone restarts itself how can I fix this as at the moment I have no working camera neither the front or back camera works I have tried restoring the phone and that doesn't make a difference the problem is still there please help me
