You should stick to one discussion .... The one that you already started. Nobody is going to know what you have already talked about or tried if you start another discussion.

Anyway, if the Use iCloud option will not stay enabled on the iPad in the Pages settings, then the documents will not appear on the iPad because technically iCloud has not been enabled to use with Pages.

These documents that you can't see, where were they created? Go to iCloud.com on a computer. Log into your account. Click on the Pages icon. Create a document in the cloud. Any document at all will work, just type a couple of lines of type. Exit iCloud.com. Go back to Pages on the iPad and see if that document appears.

Ok, I'll try to stick to one discussion...I thought that discussion might have been over.

The documents I have in iCloud do not appear in Pages on my iPad or iPhone.  They do appear in iCloud on my Mac.

The Use iCloud option will not stay enabled on the iPad in the Pages settings.

Most of my docs are created on my iPad.

I created a new 'test' page on my Mac using iCloud and that doesn't appear on the iPad.

OK. It just makes it a little easier to stay on topic if you stick with one discussion. Some discussions can go on for days or longer.

Can I assume that you recently downloaded Pages on your iPhone as well as on the iPad? On your iPhone, can you get the Use iCloud option to stay enabled?

This is so weird. I can understand of it was just happening on one device, but for it to happen on both devices makes no sense at all.

Have you delete the app and reinstalled it? I think I would try that next. You will not lose anything since ...

    A. There is nothing on the iPad so there is nothing to lose.

    B. When it works properly, you can delete the app and you still keep all content in iCloud.com. I have deleted Pages a few times and reinstalled it.

I have deleted the app and re-downloaded it.

    Didn't solve it.

The only thing that I can think of at this point is that there is some issue with your ID. What that could be is beyond me now.

When you said that you can see the docs in iCloud on your Mac, do you mean in iCloud.com when you log in via Safari? Are these files stored on your Mac as well?

Could it be Resetting iCloud Documents & Data service in Safari, logged into iCloud, Account Settings, Advanced, Reset Documents and Data??

and if so, will I loose my documents stored in the iCloud?

iCloud works when I create a new calander event using my iPhone, iPad & on iCloud.com...the event appears on all devices.

Pages > Settings > Use iCloud "on" keeps getting turned off the minute I start Pages.

(this happens on my iPad & iPhone)

I had never heard of this setting until you made me aware of it. From what I read - you will not lose anything if you reset documents and data and in fact, it might be worth a try.

When I tapped on Advanced, this was the next window.

When I clicked on More Details, it took me to this kb article.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5824iCloud: Resetting iCloud Documents & Data service - Support - Apple

    It states in the article....

iCloud: Resetting iCloud Documents & Data service

Learn about resetting iCloud Documents & Data service for all iCloud-enabled apps on your devices.

When you use an app that stores documents and data in iCloud, changes to those documents should appear on each of your other devices that use the app. If those changes don't appear on your other devices, you may need to reset iCloud Documents & Data.

    Thanks...

It says "Reset and merge all documents and data on iCloud with what is currently on your devices" There is nothing on my devices.

...my docs are in the iCloud.

If you click on the link here for troubleshooting documents in the cloud....

First try following the steps for troubleshooting Documents in the Cloud. If those steps don't work, reset iCloud Documents & Data as described below. These steps won't delete your documents and data or affect the changes you've made to them.

.....it takes you to this. See item 7.

    Unable to update documents

Documents I've updated on my Mac or uploaded from iCloud.com don't appear on my iOS device

    1. If you're using an iWork for iOS app (Pages, Numbers, or Keynote), check the iCloud system requirements and make sure that you're using the latest version of iWork. For third party apps, check the documentation that came with the app, or check with the app developer to make sure the app supports iCloud. App Store application descriptions often indicate whether the app supports iCloud.
    2. Go to Apple () menu > System Preferences on your Mac. Click iCloud and confirm that you're signed in to iCloud and the Documents & Data checkbox is selected.
    3. After opening your iOS app, wait a few minutes for the documents to appear. Your iOS device may not have connected to iCloud since changes were made to the document at iCloud.com or on your other devices.
    4. Try creating a new document on your iOS device, then check again for the documents from iCloud to appear.
    5. Go to Settings > iCloud > Documents & Data and confirm that Use Cellular Data is turned on.
    6. Confirm that you're connected to the Internet by checking for an Edge, 3G, 4G, LTE, or Wi-Fi icon in your device's status bar. Test your connection by opening apple.com in Safari.
    7. Try resetting iCloud Documents & Data service.

Note: Preview and TextEdit documents uploaded to your iCloud Documents Library on your Mac will not be visible oniCloud.com or an iOS device, and iCloud iWork documents saved to iCloud cannot be viewed in Preview or TextEdit.
