Since I performed a clean install of Mavericks on my iMac, the computer-name changed a couple of times unexpectedly.
Now, I end up with one of the previous names to be recognized by my iPad instead of the correct one.
So, a WiFi-sync is no longer possible.
Is there a way to change the computer-name on my iPad to the correct one?

I'm not sure if you want to change your iPad's or computer's name. To change the name of your iPad go to settings> general>about>name. To change the name of you computer check more like this to the right of your question.
