Yes, if the songs are downloaded to your device or you have cellular data on.

    Chris Ca:

Txs, but they should be dowloaded into my phone BUT not taking up memory, correct ??

Also I have very little cellular data that I dont want to abuse or EVEN use in long 1 hr + workouts.

That is my only concern before paying $25.00 to store "some" of my music making it diffficult for my 16GB Storage i ph  to work properly as it sits right now.

No. If they are downloaded, they are taking up memory.

If they show up in the Music app with a cloud symbol, they are not downloaded to your phone.

You can stream them via wifi/cellular.

You can download them to your phone while you are on wifi  then play the downloaded songs without using data connection.

The way I am beginning to understand from your great posts it is.............................if I download a couple of albums from the Cloud BEFORE my work out, and save them to the iPhone..I am not taking up Memory(or actually VERY LITTLE) , I wont be using Cell Data and I can have a couple of hrs of music with no worries, is that So ??

And again thanxs for so many Q's on my ignorant part.

Awesome, that's the equivalent of unchecking music from my i Tunes library to reduce memory usagge, but in a minimal amount of time and effort by using the iTunes Match Program offered by Apple for a minimal yearly cost without having to go thru the trouble before mentioned and syncing devices ALL day long and every day.
