Q: I'm using an IPhone 5 (IOS 7.0.4) and I can't find a 'Group Text' facility. Am I missing something?

I need to set up Group texting but can't find the facility. On my iPhone 4S and using a different carrier I could select up to 50 recipients. Currently I can only select 10 recipients. Do I need to download a Group Txt App and if so which one

According to the following link your wireless carrier may restrict the maximum number of recipients. There may be some other useful information in the link. Hopefully someone else can respond re other text apps. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5760

My understanding of Group messaging is there is a restriction on the iPhone itself. Not sure how that is done, but it seems as you mentioned to be 10. I've read a number of older posts, and you can search this to check, but I believe this is restricted to groups apps now as well. Again, search the fourm here for more, and you can also check in and search the app store and read any restrictions apps have there.
