how do i put my apple imac g 5 to factory settings as like i have just bought it

Hiya I got a imac of a friend as a swap i would like to take it to factory setting as like it would be brand new and i would like to set it up all from fresh can anyone help me please plus it dont like downloading the new itunes aswell :\

Insert its original disk, restart the computer with the C key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the partition with Mac OS X installed, and then install a new OS onto it.


If you don't have its original disks, phone AppleCare and order replacements.
