what do I do if my app store keeps saying that my credit card information is wrong but i know it is not?

Hey there! I'm trying to download an app and it keeps saying I need to log into my account. When I try to, it says I need to change my credit card information. It says "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update your payment method." I know for sure that my card is good and all my information is correct and that there is money on my card. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great! Thanks!
