Question

Restoring iphone 5c

Can it be restored after I had info wiped from it? Someone found it, aware that the phone cannot be used. I am picking it up tomorrow is there anything I should look for if it has been tampered with ? It was brand new and I think he wants a finders fee???

When you get it back put it in DFU mode (Google it to find YouTube videos to help you) and Restore it as a new device. Before doing so turn off Find My iPhone on your phone if it was on.

Things can only be restored to a device if those items have previously been backed up somewhere else first.
