Does anyone have a suggestion for connecting/installing a Brother MFC-J475DW to a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.5? I have successfully downloaded the printer drivers (in the Downloads folder) but the Mac is not finding the driver when I try to "Add Printer"

Downloading the drivers isn't enough. You have to install them.
Mount the .dmg file by double clicking it and follow the instructions inside.
I had the same problem! I did download and install the drivers but in vain. I guess the problem is from the Brother driver itself, the printers and scanner doesnt show in the printer&scanner icon. Probably it doesnt work on OSX 10.8.5
