Your tag line says Macbook Pro, but the title says Mac Pro. Two very different machines. Which one do you really have?

Are your pictures on an SD card? If so, use a USB card reader or a built in reader to copy the pictures.

If your camera came with a USB cable, you can connect it to your Mac and transfer pictures that way. As babowa mentioned, if your camera uses a SD card, you can take that our of the camera and insert it into the SD card reader slot on your computer (if it has one). Even if it is not an SD card, most newer cameras come with a USB cable.
