Q: MacBook Pro and Sony HDTV- DVI-HDMI connection problem

Hi, I am trying to connect my HDTV and MacBook Pro eith retina display by DVI-HDMI cable but there is no signal. My TV is Sony HDTV rear projection model# KDP-65WS550

I am not really good at Mac so please help me!
