Lost my music files on the iPod by mistake...

Note: I am using the 5th Gen 80GB iPod Classic running Version 1.3

I had someone (stupid) put a password on volume control and so I didn't know what it was. I used "Enable disk use" and copied all my files onto my laptop, and restored it and put the files back, and later on realised that there is a hidden folder named "iPod_Control" which actually holds all the music, and so I lost them all. What can I do to restore them?

I would really need some help!!!!!
