how do i create an icon for a file on an ipad?

I have a powerpoint file on my ipad mini that I would like an icon for so that others can locate the file easily when they are doing presentations. Can anyone tell me how to create and icon to a file?

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.4

You cannot do that on an iPad. Files, documents, etc, are stored within the apps in which they are created. You cannot creat a shortcut to a document to place on the home screen.
