I am trying to copy photos from iphotos on my mac to a (WD elements) but they will not all transfer over, how do I get them to copy over without leaving some out? they are all JPEG and are taken from an Iphone, just do not understand why some go across when others do not. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you using the Export menu item in iPhoto? Do the number of pictures transferred not match the number shown at the lower left of the Export window?
it shows the number in my libaray, but when i go to export them only 1107 out of 1991 go across to my hard drive?
I don't know what is causing the problem but what I would try is to export them in smaller groups (i.e.,select multiple events and export them, then select other events, etc) to see if that works and if not it may narrow down the problem.
