Apple Thunderbolt Display connected to New MBPr as advertised -> only one display shows real white otherone is gray-white

Apple Thunderbolt Display connected to New MBPr as advertised -> only one display shows real white other one is gray-white. The differences between the displays are significant.

You can toggle which one displays the pure white by selecting which display is the main display in the monitor settings.

We bought a MBPr and an Apple Thunderbolt Dipslay at Pudong (Shanghai) Apple Store and -> connected Apple Thunderbolt Display to New MBPr as advertised -> only one display shows real white otherone is gray-white.

They said it would be our setup but they cannot localize what exactly it is. -> Here's the funny part. We connected their MBPr with their Apple Thunderbolt Display in the store as advertised on the pacage and -> only one display shows real white otherone is gray-white.

We choose white for comparison and the differences been on our system and on their one in the store significant.

It is advertised to be able to use both displays at the same time. Apple Staff statement is we have to accept the significant difference.

They send us home with a promise of reply. (August 2013) No solution from Apple Staff till today.
