I would run through the suggestions in the following two documents to see if that helps the issue:
Intel-based Mac notebooks: Troubleshooting unresponsive trackpad issues
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1248
Portables and Magic Trackpad: Jumpy or erratic trackpad operation

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
Have a great day,

Jan 9, 2014 3:52 PM in response to Delgadohby ranajs,Hello Delgadoh,
Thanks for your kind response appreciated! I have tried all of these and many other things nothing worked! I DON'T have a starnge behavior of the cursor.. it's PERFECT! i can move it just as usual and have no problem what so ever..
My problem is with the clicking and draging... so mainly, PRESS and HOLD is not working and the RIGHT CLICK is not working... i'm glad i can tap and do all other functions.. i have NO PROBLEM using functions with 1 finger, 2 fingers, 3 fingers, and 4 fingers... all are great it's only clicking and dragging not working!
I read that sometimes the trackpad might be blocked or that something might be on the way beneath it, so I checked also the trackpad and it does go all the way down when i click but as i said not responsive!
The trackpad is super clean and so the laptop... very well-maintained! i'm not sure what happened to the clicking and dragging option! any other suggestions?!
Thanks again

If no joy, take it to an Apple store Genius bar for a free evaluation, there have been reports of swollen batteries that can cause these issues, if let un attended, it may cause more seriuos damage. The battery is under the track pad.
Best

If the battery is swollen, wouldn't that prevent the trackpad from going all the way down?! the trackpad goes all the way downand no problem at all in both bottom corners! By the way, i did an SMC and no hope!
Thanks!
