Q: macbook pro not connecting to internet
So I bought my computer a little over a year ago and haven't had any issues until recently.
I had put my computer to sleep and when I pulled it out the next day to use it. It would say I was connected to the internet but when I tried to pull up a web page it would take a long time to load and then I'd get the error message saying the server is not responding.
This shouldnt have anything to do with it but I just moved into my father-in-law's house and he doesn't have internet so I activated my mobile hot spot on my phone and that's what I was using until I could no longer connect. I made sure I hadn't used all my data on my hotspot, less than 1GB data uSed so That's not the issue. But I decided to try another connection anyway. My neighbor has Wi-Fi and I still show full connection but my internet still didn't work.
I have been reading several different solutions to fix the problem. I tried them all, nothing had worked so far. If anyone has found a solution besides refreshing the DHCP lease PLEASE hep me. I really don't want to pay $49 for Apple support.
