Garageband isn't letting me assign different inputs.

Garageband isn't letting me assign different input sources to different tracks. I'm using a Zoom H4N as my audio interface and it won't let me assign input source 1 to track 1 and input source 2 to track 2. It uses either one or the other input source, but not both. Thanks.
