I have a MacBook Pro and I keep hearing a ticking noise on the left side of my trackpad. It ticks about 5 times and then stops. I think it might be a fan issue not sure.

It might also be your hard drive. Have you noticed any abnormal behavior?
One thing that happened was when I was recording music in Logic Pro 9 my audio interface just stopped working out of the blue. I couldn't play music from it or record. I've never had a problem with it before. I had to buy a new one and it works just fine now in the program. A few days later this sound starts happening.
